Following the successful introduction of culture flasks and baffle flasks to our media preparation range, SciLabware has two new glassware products for the microbiology and tissue culture sectors.

Fernbach culture flasks are suited to large volume cell cultures where a large surface area to volume ratio is required. Three baffle indents maximize oxygen transfer to the culture medium.

Manufactured from Pyrex® borosilicate glass for the maximum chemical resistance and optical clarity, Fernbach flasks are available in two versions, Delong neck and screwcap. Delong neck flasks feature a plain tube aperture that can be sealed using aluminium and plastic closures. Screwcap flasks utilise GL45 thread Polypropylene screw caps.
