SciLabware, the UK’s leading manufacturer of laboratory glassware and reusable plastics, has revamped its’ popular range of Azlon wide mouth wash bottles ahead of changes to European labelling legislation.

The new Globally Harmonised System (GHS) which comes into full effect from June 2015 replaces the old style black and orange square COSHH symbols with a new red and black diamond shaped pictograms.

Solvent and safety information is indelibly printed in English, French, German and Spanish. Fitted with one piece colour-coded closures, the wash bottles are printed with either Acetone, IMS, Methanol, Isopropanol, Ethanol Distilled Water, De-ionised Water, or Water.

Also printed on the bottles are chemical formulae and CAS numbers for easy identification plus a ‘signal’ word (e.g. ‘Danger’) to alert you to any possible hazards and ‘H’ phrases for simple reference to possible health risks. The reverse of the bottle carries safety information statements in four languages.

These popular 250ml and 500ml wide mouth bottles are manufactured in low density polyethylene and are available with or without the patented DripLok® two-way valve technology which prevents hazardous solvent drips.

Scilabware also offers custom wash bottles printed with your own choice of languages and logo.
